Not all Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are made the same nor appropriate for a specific purpose.

Unmanned vehicle technology has advanced much in recent years.  There is a plethora of UAV out in the market.  From miniature three inch quad-copters to almost full size aircrafts.  Answering the question of which one is the right one for a specific job can be a daunting task.

Depending on the application determining the size and type of UAV is a key factor to the success of the enterprise.  A high end movie production octo-copter might not be the right solution for a farmer that wants to inspect his crops, he might be better off with a smaller, less complex resource like a NDVI sensor equipped quad copter with a flight time rated for 25-30 minutes.  The main factors in determining what is best for a job relies on the operator´s experience, the complexity of the task, and the logistics involved operating the aircraft.

JohnsTek Inc, has vast experience in providing UAVs as a service, with solutions tailored to your needs.  For more information on the JohnsTek UAV services, click here.
